Admission Rules

FOR ADMISSION TO PU FIRST YEAR
Te candidates who have passed SSLC or equivalent examination are only eligible for taking admission to PU first year.
The admission to the First year is governed by the rules framed by the PU Board and the college. The candidates desirous of seeking of admission to PU First year should submit the application form completed in all respects within the time prescribed, with necessary documents. The list of candidates selected as per the rules will be notified. The selected candidates should take admission within the time specified, failing which their seat will be allotted to the next candidate on the waiting list.
FOR ADMISSION TO PU SECOND YEAR
The candidate should have passed PU First examination from any college recognized by PUE Board, Bangalore. Same subjects as in PU First year should be offered at PU Second year also.
PRE-UNIVERSITY COURSE IN COMMERCE
(Affiliated to Pre-University Board, Bangalore)
BASIC PAPERS:
• English –Compulsory
• Modern Indian Language-(Any one: Kannada, Hindi, Sanskrit, Marathi)
(The students who opt Sanskrit can write answers in their own language)
COMBINATION OF SUBJECTS:
• Accountancy – Compulsory
• Business Studies – Compulsory
• Economics or Basic Maths
• Political Science or Statistics or Computer Science
• The Students have to study the same subjects for PUC II year
• Those who opt for computer Science subject must compulsorily opt for Economics Subject.

PRE-UNIVERSITY COURSE IN SCIENCE
(Affiliated to Pre-University Board, Bangalore)

BASIC PAPERS:
• English –Compulsory
• Modern Indian Language-(Any one: Kannada, Hindi, Sanskrit, Marathi)
(The students who opt Sanskrit can write answers in their own language)

COMBINATION OF SUBJECTS:
• Physics
• Chemistry
• Mathematics
• Biology/Computer Science

The Students have to study the same subjects for PUC II year

GENERAL NOTIFICATIONS:
Every student should adhere to the following rules and regulations.

• The Principal reserves the right to reject any admission, if the candidate is found to be of objectionable behavior.
• If in the opinion of the Principal any student is found to be of objectionable behavior after the admission, he or she can be rusticated from the college.
• Attendance to all periods is compulsory. If the attendance of any student is less than 75% of the periods conducted in each subject, he/she will not be permitted to appear for the examination.
• The students are forbidden from writing, disfiguring or making mark on walls desks, etc.
• No student shall misbehave or ill-treat parents, employees and other students either inside or outside the college.
• No student is allowed to possess or consume Gutka, pan, chewing gum alcoholic drinks or any other intoxicants. Smoking is strictly prohibited.
• The students should be decently dressed.
• The division and roll number are allotted at the time of admission. No change of division and optional subjects is permitted thereafter.
• In all the matters decision of the Principal is final and binding.
• Mobile Phones/I pods etc. are banned in the college campus.
